The S3 is the first RBT camera in all metal design, all parts (base, rear lid, front, etc.) are all made out of metal. THERE ARE THREE MODELS AVAILABLE: A: stereo basis 65 mm, adapted format 24x33 mm, 36 pictures from a 35mm film add up to 20 picture pairsB: stereo basis 75 mm, full size 24x36 mm, 36 pictures from a 35mm film add up to 18 picture pairs C: stereo basis, 65mm, full size 24x36mm, 36 pictures from a 35mm film add up to 13 picture pairs TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS The most expanded measure view-finder basis for high- precision focusing •in the market Extra large viewfinder insight and very bright viewfinder image for easy motive viewing Centralized TTL exposure measurement The AE-memory button fix, if required the exposure value, even for several pictures Metal bladed shutter, vertically running (1/2000 s - 8 s, flash synchronization time 1/125 s or more) M-bayonet for interchangeable lenses Changeable illuminated frame for selecting the image before lens changing The view-finder assembly of the Zeiss Ikon camera has a rangefinder with the most expanded measure basis in the market. The design is very compact and combines precision rangefinder mechanics with high sophisticated optics. Naturally, the illuminated frames can automatically be switched, suitable to the lens used. The distance setting is coupled with the illuminated frame, to balance automatically the parallax, the displacement between the viewfinder axis and the lens axis. The vertically arranged LED display shows the shutter speed and the battery status. ALL INFORMATION IN THE VIEW-FINDER Suitable to the respective lens, an illuminated frame is turned in automatically. One of the following three different illuminated frames is always visible in the view-finder: 28 mm/85 mm, 35 mm or 50 mm. The LED shutter speed device is vertically arranged to the left, between the frame for 28 mm and 35 mm focal length. It indicates the shutter speeds, over-and under-exposure, AE-Lock and the battery status.
